Orange County Chinese-American Chamber of Commerce

This corporation is a non-profit public benefit corporation and is not organized for the private gain of any person. It is organized under the non-profit public benefit corporation law for charitable purpose.

1. Develop Chinese-American commerce by providing assistance in business management business operation, trade materials, and business experience.
2. Provide Orange County Chinese-American Chamber of Commerce with updated business development information.
3. Provide Chinese-American Business communities with legal consultation.

4. Publish Chinese-American Orange County Chamber of Commerce newsletter and membership directory.
5. Provide Chinese-Americans with information of employment opportunities, job placement, and development
6. Unite Chinese-Americans in better understanding. Provide social activities to eliminate the language, culture, and national origin barriers and handicaps.
7. Establish a fund for the Orange County Chinese-Americans Chamber of Commerce.
8. Establish public relation with the American business community and political parties, both locally and nationwide.
9. This Chamber shall not involve in any Chinese or Chinese-American political party(ies). This Chamber shall maintain political neutrality, and should not participate, interfere, or sponsor any Chinese political party(ies) or activities.
10. Notwithstanding any other provision of these Articles, the corporation shall not carry on any activities not permitted to be carried on (1) by a corporation exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or Section 23701 of the California Revenue and Taxation Code or (2) by a corporation, contributions to which are deductible under Section 170(c)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code, or under Section 17214 of the California Revenue and Taxation Code, or the corresponding provision of any future federal and California tax laws.
11. (a) Preserving the competitive enterprise system of business by: creating a better understanding and appreciation of the importance of business people and a concern for this problems; (b) educating the business community and representing them in city, county, state and national legislative and political affairs; (c) preventing or addressing controversies which are detrimental to the expansion and growth of Orange County Chinese-American business and the community if they arise.
12. Promoting business and community growth and development by: (a) promoting economic programs designed to strengthen and expand the business potential of all this Chamber Commerce; (b) promoting program of a civic, social, and cultural nature which are designed to increase the business value of Orange County Chinese-American Chamber of Commerce; (c) and discovering and correcting political oppression or suppression, business abuse, racial discrimination which prevent the healthy growth of Orange County Chinese-American business and commerce.

橙 縣 華 人 商 會

本會係非營利組織，其宗旨在

1. 提供商業管理，工商資料及交換經驗，促進中美人仕生意交往，互換心 得。
2. 提供橙縣華商最新的商業發展消息。
3. 提供華商法律諮詢及協助解決在商業行為上所可能發生的法律問題。
4. 出版橙縣華人商會通訊刊物及會員工商錄。
5. 提供華人就業消息，協助工作介紹及安排。
6. 團結華商，提供社交活動以增進彼此間之瞭解，致力於消除語言、文化 及出生地之差異所引起的種種障礙及缺陷。
7. 建立橙縣華人商業基金會。
8. 與美國工商社會及政治團體：不論是地方或全國性，均建立良好的公共 關係。
9. 對所有華人政治團體保持超然中立之態度，絕不參加、干涉或贊助海為 內外華人之政治組織及活動。
10. 不進行任何抵觸聯邦及加州政府之非營利組織稅務法的活動。
11. 維護商業公平競爭之制度，力求瞭解華商存在之種種困難，提供會員各 種商務之知識及教育資料，並代表商會會員向各城，市，縣，州政府及聯邦當局發言，申訴及防止一切有關傷害本商會及會員成長之事項和措 施。
12. 推廣有關經濟活動以加強商會的發展。推廣有關社交文化活動，以加強 華商的存在價值。檢討並糾正有關政治迫害與種族歧視的行為以維護華商的正常發展。
